Wired contributor Liu talks about his comfort level (and success) in supporting Kickstarter projects; his thoughts juxtaposed with the discomfort he feels when fundraising for his child’s school. The first is cool and fun. The latter makes us all cringe and feel bad about the state of times surrounding school funding.
