Social media blows my mind. Not because like you I spend most of my “hobby” time playing with it, but it is proving to be such a profitable biz for those who do it right, whether genius or just plain lucky. Flabbergasted and jealous and in awe I am…as I post this to tumblr, which auto-posts to Twitter and probably ends up on my Facebook wall. I can’t really remember because I’m lost in all this amazing and refreshing fun. Now if only I could come up with a brilliant idea, partner with coder friends I don’t have and build a massively successful business with VC money I’m not sure where to ask for, my hobby time could turn into something Zynga would buy for $210MM. Or I can keep typing this and just enjoy this diatribe experience. I guess I will stick with what I know.
